If you have a "CMS" type website, it means that you have the possibility of editing and/or modifying certain aspects of your website.
The following steps will show you how to edit your website.
When your website was given to you, you must've received a website address, an email address and a password for editing and modifying your website as you please.
- Insert the address on the address bar on a new tab and hit enter.
- Once you're inside your website a small grey window will appear on the lower right, here you will type in the email address and password you were sent when you received your website.
- Once inside you can edit the text directly, simply hover the cursor over the text and click. At that moment the editing mode will be activated on that text section, you will be able to identify it with the pencil icon that will always be located on the upper right of the section to be edited.
- When the icon appears you will be able to change, modify or correct text on the site.
- If there's an image that you'd like to change on the website, you can do it in the same way, just hover the cursor over the image that you'd like to replace and the editing icon will appear. Click on it and replace the current image with the one of your choice.
- Once you've done all the changes you want, got to the lower right and click on the "Publish" button for the site changes to take effect, you'll be able to see them on the live website immediately afterwards.
